About the EP :
No FTR is short No Future: Daniel Monaco wants to represent a
trip into an obscure place maybe lost in space maybe doomed in
a parallel universe, the drums are sometimes mixed with metallic
trashcans alike sounds, melodies suggesting feelings of hope and
despair, Sequenced synth bass are mixed with live performed
basslines trying to create a muddy yet sharp rolling grooves.
Some intentional overdoe on the arrangement was made to recall
the fullness in sound typical of few old school Italo tracks Daniel
Monaco is fond of.
The EP is a Dark Italo concept containing 3 originals and 3
remixes by artists such as Golden Soul Label Boss and
unstoppable producer James Rod, Korean artist Shubostar owner
of Uju Records known for her Cosmic Touch and also favorite
Burning Man Mayan Warrior dj, Slow Motion label boss Franz
Scala pioneer of the new Italian Wave a true creator and Italo Master.
